Wolverhampton and District Chess League Blitz Tournament May 7^th 2020

As part of our celebrations of the leagues 75^th Anniversary in 2020 all WDCL Clubs are invited to participate in a Blitz Tournament.

Following the success of last year’s event WDCL are running a Blitz Tournament on Thursday May 7^th at the venue of Wolverhampton Chess Club; Wolverhampton West End WMC, 71-73 Merridale Street West, Wolverhampton, WV3 0RW, starting at 19h30.

The tournament is for WDCL member clubs and will be for teams of 4 players per side.

Time control will be 5mins per game with 5 Secs per move increment. Four or Five Rounds will be played on the night, depending on numbers of entries. Clubs can enter as many teams as they choose.

The tournament will be an open tournament, all play all with no grading limit or handicap system.

Closing date for entries to David Fone is Friday May 1^st 2020.

There is no entry fee.
