He then moved to Cannock but didn't play chess for many years until he joined [[St Mary's Cannock]] in 1998. He played in both the Wolverhampton and Cannock leagues for his club. He was a staunch supporter of his clubs internal tournaments. He also represented Staffordshire.

Michael Zubacz 2002
