John J Walker 1997

The death occurred on April 14th 1997, of John Walker, who has only been a member of Lucas-B.S.C.C. for years. He was one of the clubs strongest players. His sudden death came as a great shock to his family and the chess club. John played in both the Birmingham and Wolverhampton leagues. May I offer condolences to his family on behalf of the league.
